Ok ...if one of you out there has my Tuesday ...please can I have it back.
I sat down to check emails and saw one with woyww on it ...suddenly I realized it was Wednesday and I hadn't posted. Not that I have done anything again but my knitting is growing ....slowly....managed a few evenings.
You may wonder what the cream ball is well ....its crafting cotton for knitting dishclothes. You may wonder why ...I would have a few months ago, but having read several US blogs ,..where the ladies are Homesteaders ... they sounded a great idea. After bending DIL ears, she picked a ball up for me yesterday.
If you are a frugal person and love home made things and self sufficiency ... pop by Moonberry Farm Homesteading Journal ... and Mornings Minion ...I am sure they have 48hours in their days ....and the former has eight offspring that she home schools too.
Just thought I would add a Feline Fix again ...this is Smudge .....I nearly sat on him ...he was originally almost totally covered. ...notice it took him no time to fall asleep again.
Take Care xx

I'd like my Tuesday back too, I can't believe how fast the weeks are going by. Love the knitting that wool is gorgeous.
Your kitty is just like mine always hiding where your about to sit, mine should be flat amount of times she's been sat on. Lol
Happy WOYWW

What a sweet looking cat... I have one trying to sit on the keyboard at the moment!! Happy WOYWW - Helen T #65
Happy WOYWW. I must admit that I won't be knitting my own dishcloths - life is definitely too short! I have always wondered how some of these women get so much done each day - probably something to do with no watching tv, going shopping .... Perhaps they are aliens?? Ali x #55
Love Felix, he's gorgeous. Don't know about losing Tuesday, I swear I'm losing whole weeks!Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #86
beautiful yarn! happy WOYWW! Lindsay #97
I'm sat reading my WOYWW blogs on my sick bed this week but have my mask on so you don't catch anything. I'm enjoying reading what everyone is up to this week [it's better than reading magazines :-) ]. I'm leaving a copied comment so you know I've called by because my hands are too weak and shaky to keep typing out my comments this week.
Big hugs,
A x #93
I am sure there are more Wednesdays in the week than any other day.... good to see your knitting expanding! Helen, 4
Angie, we make dishcloths here... little square ones... some plain, some with knitted ladybugs or other critters on them... some in plain or multi-colored cotton. They're quick and fun (and useful).
Cute pics of Smudge!
Ha ha - I bought some knitting cotton - was going to macrame something but got into such a mess with it. Think it will make good dishclothes! x Jo
Have made the odd dishcloth and they are worth the time as they seem to last sooo much longer than anything else these days. Days go all to quickly here to and i have often how it is that the younger you are with more demands on your time the more you seem to get done. Must be cos we take longer when we of a certain age to do the simple things. Happy WOYWW.

Oh, how funny..I was just looking at that dishcloth cotton in my local wool store yesterday and wondering what I can do with it. I'll follow that blog trail and see what marvels they do..don't these sorts of people make you feel inadequate though?? They do me!!
Love the cat pics :)
Hugs, LLJ #68 xx
Hi Shozzy
took a look at 'Moonberry Farm' that womans a miracle....
mind you, when I was younger I had so much energy, wish I had it now. lol
Remember knitting dish cloths many moons ago, look forward to seeing yours made up and you telling how long it lasted. I suppose the good thing is you can bleach them up nicely can't you.

If, during the search for your Tuesday, you happen to run across mine, please send it my way. I love hand knit dish clothes. Someone gave me one as I don't knit. If you need more feline fix there are babies on my blog today.
Ah, cute kitty!!! And I wish I had a Tuesday for you but I'm missing mine too! I wasn't ready for Wednesday when it arrived this morning. Hope the rest of your week is better! Happy WOYWW! Tammy #106
Smudge looks very warm and cozy! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
it looks like a very contented kitty there Angie! I have knitted the dish clothes in the past and they make up supper fast. I like them cause they hold enough water that you can wipe down a counter and get everything up! Love that color in the sweater there. Is it a tweedy red? Thanks for sharing and dropping by my blog! Have a great week! Vickie #37
Hi Angie, thanks so much for your lovely comments about by LO’s with week, they are much appreciated.
Your knitting seems to be growing nicely. I can’t remember the last time I had my knitting needles out…..it must be more than fifteen years ago but I can remember knitting dishcloths for a summer fair we had a work once.
Thanks again for stopping by this week.
Happy Crafting!

My heart has just melted looking at those beautiful photos of your furry friend, sooo sweet.
Smudge is super cute and I can see how you nearly sat on him. Enjoy the rest of your week.

I have decided I am just going round in circles or someone has a very warped sense of humour. I find one thing I have lost and realise that what I found last week has vanished again. I blame the Borrowers in our house. I reckon they are making their Christmas cards at the moment as I have lost my gold leaf and my foil again, having found it last week. I want it back!!! Knitted dishcloths would not suit me as they take a lot more squeezing out and my hands are not that strong. I think I shall stick to my throw away J Cloths. Have a good week, and I hope your craft elves give your cutting plates back. xx Maggie #42
I have enough things to keep me occupied without adding another hobby like trying to be self sufficient and knitting dish cloths. I think you knitting is growing but Smudge is beautiful and snuggly, give him a hug from me.

This whole year has just sped by,it's November already for crying out loud! I'll be making mincemeat and our Christmas cake this weekend! Your jumper is coming on apace, so many stitches, I like small projects, I can see the progress! I started out knitting again by doing dishcloths too, I wanted to cut our reliance on paper towels. Be warned though, it was after them that I moved on to socks!! No cake, trying to wean myself off that again!!

I know where your Tuesday went...I started crocheting about a month ago and I noticed it seems to make your brain go on vacation so whole days seem to disappear! They're just gone! lol Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving me such a nice and encouraging comment. Your knitting is looking very nice, hope it's going well. :) Deeyll
Thanks or the comment on the basket.
I have another one similar but no the same colour, I put a blanket in that one but not one of them was interested. That's what I like about cats, they are so contrary, just like their owner. lol

Glad I'm not the only one who loses days!!! That knitting is progressing well hun. Have a great weekend, hugs Buttons #81
Knitting coming along nicely. I understand knitted cloths though don't have any myself. My crochet - I ran out if wool and didn't leave any to sew it together so had to add another colour, then I sewed it together wrong, then it didn't quite fit the cushion and now I'm bored with it but I will finish it one day x
You look a busy knitter there. Love smudge. Why do cats love sleeping with their heads almost upside down!!
Happy WOYWW

Love the feline fix - kitties always do me good!! Your knitting is great, too. Thanks for your nice comment on my blog - what a good idea to knit 2 strands of unravelled knitting together to make it thicker! My project is taking some time because it's 4 ply and quite fine, but going well as long as I don't keep making stupid mistakes and having to undo it...
Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi #15
I find that homesteaders and cotholders tend to be very organised folks - especially if they homeschool! Thanks for the links...
Love the cat pics...hehehehe
