WOYWW week 2

So where did that week go … inspiration wise?
Not one glimmer of anything for most of the week.
I managed to put away, AGAIN, the one I was musing over last week and got some other bits out when I had a little spark in the creative area of my brain … yes I do have a brain and sometimes it is creative lol.
I’m not sure what I’m doing with it yet so that’s why it is just sitting there. I even tried to be untidier in the hope that more inspiration would filter back into my life … still nothing even the duck hasn’t moved !!!!! and I really need to make a card too.
Well that was how I felt until I took my photo for WOYWW …….
Then my brain went into Mojo Mode ……all chores went on hold and my area got into it’s usual state of mess … nearly … and a LO started to emerge.
Its nearly finished and I will let you see it next time I blog.
Today it poured with rain but having seen other Bloggers ‘Flowers with rain drops’ photos, I was drawn to capture it myself. It was only after I had snapped some flowers that I thought that others would have probably waited until it had stopped raining before venturing out …. doh
Must go to Julia Dunnits blog to let her know I remember WOYWW.
Take Care xx

Oh you do make me chuckle - I would have ducked out in the rain too :P

I can't wait to see duckie changing as well, I've got the bug for it now and as I'm tidying up have been secretly nabbing my youngest dd's ducks away - how awful am I? LOL! I swear I'll buy her some more ;)

Your lo looks lovely - the photo is gorgeous!

I'm so ashamed - I don't have an actual work area and my desk is disgusting. I'll take a piccy tonight though and hopefully I'll be able to display a lovely craft area soon. Off to get some ideas up Ikea tomorrow.

I didn't get much time to play before I went out tonight, but if you want to see some fantastic things you can do with Promarkers, have a look at Caryn's blog, Glitter Me Silly, she works wonders with them :)

GORGEOUS raindrops picture, and yes, I would have ventured out in the rain to get a picture like that too :)

You had me giggling....you are so cute!!! Here is my recipe for the GuacamIngredients:
2 tbsps finely chopped fresh cilantro
2 tsp finely chopped yellow onions
2 tsp minced jalapeno or serrano chilies
salt
2 large ripe avocadoes, peeled and seeded
2 tbsp finely chopped plum tomato (1 small tomato)
2 tsp fresh squeezed lime juice
warm tortilla chips, for serving
Preparation:
Mash together 1 tablespoon of the cilantro, 1 teaspoon of the onion, 1 teaspoon of the chile, and q/w teaspoon of salt in the bottom of a medium-size bowl.
Add the avocados and gently mash with a fork until chunky-smooth.

Fold the remaining cilantro, onion, and chile into the mixture.

Stir in the tomato and lime juice, adjust the seasonings to taste, and serve with a basket of warm tortilla chips.
