WOYWW 201 ...no card yet ...but a peek at a necklace.

This is where I am working ....note the large box of sweets on the right ...the GS's of course !!!.

I have 3 days to make the Wedding Card ….  still not sure what I’m doing ….I’ve had a great time playing though ….shame the card will not be as amazing as my head imagined it to be … .lol

I mentioned  last week that I had been playing with beads …here is a sneak peak ….I’m getting there ….slowly.

I have made this short and sweet ….. but  I do want to say sorry  that I only visited about 25 of you last week. The same again  this week I’m afraid, as I’m off to Ireland early Monday and I’m still not properly organised as to what I’m wearing to the wedding ….so what new.???? but I did spend an hour trying on things so I think I'm almost there. As no-one is wearing a hat I need to come up with something to do with my ever lengthening but rapidly thinning hair ....I have a glimmer of an idea ...just need to play....not sure I am a Fascinater lady.

Take Care xx

Ho Angie, long time no see so thanks for visiting this morning and for your kind comment.

I love a good wedding and the chance to wear a hat so I would get one anyway, or dig out one I have in the loft.

Love your beads, very pretty.

Enjoy the wedding and don't forget to share the card when it is finished.

If you don't want a large fascinator, why don't you get a plastic hairband, cover it in something to match the colours you're wearing and stick a few beads on. It would be lovely to wear something in your hair as you've got such a good head of it! Anyhow, whatever you do, I really hope yu have a safe journey and enjoy yourself immensely!

Love your bead work, it is lovely. I am sure your card will be wonderful and a special keepsake.I smiled when you mentioned a fascinator,as I made a mock one for the Tim Holtz Tatterd floral contest. It was a hoot to try. The girls will use it for tea parties. Have a blast at the wedding! Winnie#75

Lovely to see you again Angie, and I cannot believe you have problems with that lovely head of hair I see in your photo. Me, I a not a fascinator person either, not quite right on me. Enjoy trying them on though - LOL.
Keep on with the beading and enjoy Ireland.
Thanks for visiting me earlier - Hugs, Neet number 16 xxps my desk IS untidy, not a bit of space to work on at the moment, need to clear.

Hi Angie, by the time you read this you will have probably made the card and decided what to wear to the wedding and packed your case and decided what to do with your hair :) And talking of hair, I stopped having mine cut about 18 months ago and now I can do all sorts with it, leave it curly, tie it back, pin it up, and such a relief not to have to go to the hairdresser anymore, it pained me to lean over the sink. And, I've discovered it's a myriad of colours too :)) Have a lovely time in Ireland and a wonderful week altogether. Elizabeth x #40

Hi Angie, just read your comment on my flower photo cards - very kind of you. I have been making a scrap layout today so not found time to play with Photoshop - tomorrow hopefully.

Regarding travel sickness - both my son and myself have suffered from it at times but as I love to go to new places I've learned that the best way to cope is to sleep - all the way if possible! My son does the same. Oddly, neither of us experience it if we are doing the driving. Perhaps you could try to sleep, or at least close your eyes ... I believe that it is the effect of the scene passing at speed that causes motion sickness. Well, so I've been told by the various doctors I worked for in the past and they are the experts :))

By the way, your hair looks marvellous in your photograph. Oh, and I could count on one hand the times I have worn make-up in the last twelve months!

Have a good trip and enjoy the wedding. Elizabeth xx

Thanks for stopping by this week Angie. I’m sorry it’s taken my so long to make a return visit but just not felt much like spending time on the computer up till now. But I’m on the mend now and ‘ready to party’.

I’m sure you wedding card was beautiful when you actually finished it!
Loving the beads. I’ll be doing some beading myself soon because I wanted something in Blue for my holidays. I brought a lovely set in M&S ( necklace and bracelet) but it didn’t have earrings to match so I brought two sets and am going to pull one of the apart to do a couple of pairs of earrings and another bracelet with a bit of luck.
Happy Crafting!
