Well its nearly WOYWW 108

Not sure what is up with my creativity …I’ve gone through boxes of paper… and embellishments …I’ve even had some glimmers of inspiration …and jotted down an idea or two …even created a sketch from a friends LO at our crop, but nothing is happening …creative brain seems to have shut down.

I did manage two …just …at the crop on Saturday...and I think I like them ...the one of Emma and the twins has been waiting to be scrapped for ages (sorry they are rubbish shots …must take another of Michael when I put it on my other blog) ….

... but from then, nothing … no LO’s will become a reality, even though I want to scrap so much… so I then tried to put brain in gear for card making …need one done for Friday ...actually found paper that would be suitable and fiddled … and faffed … lots of sighs … but still nothing developed. The door bell rang to break the chain of deep and annoyed sighs … it was the postman … with a packet for ME….and the contents are now what’s on my desk….it was my 2nd prize from Jo at JOZART. …if this is 2nd ….1st will be a very happy bunny.

It is still there from yesterday so it is my WOYWW photo, as I gave up and went out to sit by the sea as it was actually sunny up here …yes I know everywhere else in the UK has been suffering 30+ degrees, on and off, but we have been at about 12-14 and very wet…. it must have been about 20+ by the coast and my face got burnt.

I had a great time just sitting and reading by the sea…not to mention the large Belgian Bun I shared with these two …

I think they were siblings or husband and wife …one kept telling the other off but they stayed with me for ages …just soaring into the sky now and then and returning for a chat.

On Saturday, I treated myself to some more Pro-markers from the visiting shop …ANGEL CRAFTS ….well I had to make my new drawers a little fuller and these two new stamps should work well with them I think

…oh yes… a clock mask slipped in too lol…maybe I should give up being creative and just loose myself in colouring for a while …I really did think my organized new room would inspire me …maybe I’m trying too hard …or its too organized lol.

Computer still poorly but DD has taken off everything of importance onto ‘sticks’ …will be taking your advice and getting an external hard drive soon as I can.... and probably a new tower.

Take Care xx

I find that inspiration still visits--but the energy to put ideas into production is too often lacking.
I would have enjoyed the sit by the sea--complete with the bun and the birds--and tea to go with.

Pleased to hear you like your Blog Candy! Enjoy!
It is so lovely to escape to the sea.... I couldn't live landlocked as I love to be near the water.
I had to laugh when I saw the word verification... at first it looked like birdsh*t !!! I thought it was the buns you'd fed those gulls!

well done on your prize from Jo! Glad you had a day out at the sea - much the best thing to do without your mojo!

I can tell you, Angie that 1st is a very happy bunny indeed as you will see from my blog. Jo was so generous with her blog candy. You picture make me feel severe withdrawal symptoms for the sight of the sea. It seem so long since we got to the sea for some real relaxation, and wave watching. I could sit for hours by a Cornish sea just watching the waves coming in and listening to all the sounds that go with them.

hi there Angie mm, I think sometimes we do try too hard! I have a resource file of ideas I like an want to try and when I get stuck that is where I go and it always un-sticks me. That way I never get stuck for long that way and using a sketch always helps too... now re the jam the pineapple need to be ripe .. not rotten or under ripe but just Goldilocks right!! or that is the way I always make my jams ie not rubbish fruit. Happy WOYWW Shaz in Oz.x

It's a hopeless feeling... You want to create something but where is your Mojo? You did right to go to the beach. Maybe you've find some inspiration here.
Thanks for visiting me and...yes, we've seen Scotland and we want to go back some time.
Bye, Franka

Thank you for your lovely comments yesterday, I really appreciated it. I'm so chuffed that the bag I made is still going! I liked the clock background on your past memories page, reminds of me steampunk, which I like very much! xx

Loved those photos of your time by the sea - hungry birds eh! Don't stress about your mojo - take out any stamp and stamp it on card and see if you can colour it or cut it into a nice shape and take it from there. Or maybe look at some cards you have received in the past. Inspiration is always around the corner, Hugs Neet (good at telling others but not getting there herself lol)

Belgian Bun by the sea, and some warm sunshine, now there's a nice thought! And it is interesting what things are called. In NZ Belgian Buns can also be Boston Buns in some areas... no idea why, but life is full of little mysteries!

Settling down to create something can definitely be the hardest part.... I know that I should write a world famous, best selling children's book..., but I just can't think what to write about!! Isn't that always the way!

Congratulations on receiving a prize from Jozart, how lovely for you! Pxx

Loveley tidy desk, thanks for sharing your ocean view photos.
I'll bet the wifey gull was telling him to stop and smell the ocean, and that you looked like you might have a tidbit for them. LOL Keep smiling and creating.
