This is the beginning of our 3rd year together …. wk 105.

Well as I said on the last post… I really did manage to visit everyone on the list … one or two didn’t want to let me leave a comment and I may just have missed a couple of you when the numbers seemed to change …but all in all it was a fantastic day …or in my case 3 days .. of visits, to all you WOYWW crafters out there. So much to look at ...so many ideas ...so many tips. I really regreted not playing along with the PIF but cant wait to see all your creations on show this week.

Told you I couldn’t stay tidy …this is actually the contents of the ‘to file’ box where I dumped bits as I was trying to allocate homes for things …now I HAVE to find homes for these …today.

I have noticed so many ‘to file’ containers as I have nosed around your spaces but I think mine is the biggest ….a 12”x12”x13” cube that fits in a square beneath the desktop. …any advances ????.

So what have I actually done in my sanctum this week? ….I have been through all my papers and tried to kind of sort them and label the boxes they are in.

I still have a large box in the loft to go through as well ….later…most of them are ‘bulk buy’ remainders from a certain shopping channel … and those that were bought while the balance of my mind was ….well …disturbed and certainly else where. You know the sort of stuff ...the 'Why did I ever buy it'. and the 'dont remember that one' ...... I think Charity Crafter may be getting another load lol.

DD put my knobs on for me …not sure where she found the time …it has been another busy week …and she gave me this room warming pressy too.

I will be doing a little crafting later in the week as I HAVE to make four birthday cards …and then we have a 4 year olds party on Saturday …has anyone some spare Valium ???? lol. Thankfully Vicki is doing most of the organizing and cake making …I’m on sandwiches and sausage rolls etc.

I will not make it round everyone this week but I will do as many as I can and I promise to visit everyone who drops by my place.

Take Care xx

Angie - I am SO impressed at the organisation of those boxes. My papers are all stuffed in one big one and I just rummage... or more usually, grab the top one and paint over it :P

Love that clock! Very funny!

Great storage, and your clock - what a great sentiment. I think you win with your to file pile - my scraps box is teetering in total disorder, but I do put away my papers nicely!

Hi Angie, this rings soooo many bells LOL Well done you for starting to get organised hmm, not sure I'll ever do that; I haven't really used my craft desk for months and as my dining table is usually full of sewing stuff, when I do actaully make something that's not fabric I have to use the kitchen worktop! I adore that clock, I need one ;-)

If love the room warming pressie. Who needs to know the time anyway? It just flies by once you start reading everyone else's blogs.

Good luck with that party. I am so glad I have finished with that activity. That clock is lovely, what a nice pressie. I think my "to file" box is just as big as yours, if not bigger - a large Really Useful box, with an overflow box.

great contrasts there from your desk to those neat boxes. You'll get straight again... and again... and again..... and ..............ah well! Love that clock it was made for ME!

Thanks for your visit earlier. With your problem about smudging, I tend to print a pile of stuff (I use a cheap Epson Inkjet), and then leave it in a heap for the next time I fancy colouring, and have had no problem with the Promarkers smudging. It looks as though they need a couple of days for the ink to completely dry and withstand the ink from the printer. I took a pile on holiday and coloured them in over the week. They were printed on a variety of media, supersmooth card, watercolour paper, watercolour card, and Barbara Gray's silk art card.

Nice looking organization going on there. I am impressed. Want to come to my house and rummage through my stash and organize it for me? I am in the process but omg it takes so much time cause I get diverted to going through stuff. Thanks for sharing! Vickie

What a fab desk for the start of the 3rd year of WOYWW Angie and I bet your room is beginning to look great with everything in its right place……..well almost!
Loving your little clock, it really brought a smile to my face especially as since I retired 8 years ago (not that I’m retirement age) I’ve refused to wear a wristwatch unless I ‘really’ need one.

Thanks for stopping by this week and………..
Happy Crafting!

Brilliant organisation Angie, and I've enjoyed looking back at your older posts to see what you've all been up too. I have an Expedit unit but didn't go with any of their storage options as I have a lot of different sized boxes from work, so I use them. have fun at the party, lol!

I am enjoying the storage boxes and how you have organized things. It may be a bit messy, but you are doing well, none-the-less. Hope your party turns out great as we begin the third year at WOYWW.

Get you, with all your organising! I'm very impressed :-)

Hope you're recovering from the party yesterday, I imagine the peace of your craft desk is a welcome & quiet place in contrast!

Sorry I'm late popping over, but better late than never!
