Woyww Week 41 Already

Here I am ... just ... its been a funny week with its ups and downs but that's another story.

An up was that I received some metal for crafting ... a chic set of measuring cups and a large box of Thornton's from Emma and DS, along with cards from them all (Birthday and Mothers day) Ben decided to eat his one to me so there is a bite out of the bottom lol
I have also ...at last ... decided what to spend my Birthday money on, so that will be ordered later today .... cant wait....will post a photo when I get it all

Another up is I found a member of the family... on a branch that I thought was long lost and we have been communicating and swapping information this week. Until I moved up to Bonny Scotland we only lived about 10 or so miles away from each other.... small world. We share the same Great Grandparents. Some of you who read my FH blog might remember a LO about the Mobsby Family ... the girl was his mother.

Yet another up ...although a tiring one .... is that Vicki's nephews have been staying with us as their Mums not well. I had totally forgotten that there was a 6.30 AM lol
This is them helping to make cookies with VickiMaybe there were more ups than I thought

Now to the real purpose of this post ...WOYWW ....
Sorry this is a bit dark ....
I am not sure about the doodling as I used a thicker pen and am making more blank space... not finished yet .... but probably will bin it and start again ... must have a think on that one . My pen ran out on the other doodled LO and I know I had another but could I find it???? ....and patience is not my middle name. More haste less speed as they say.
The rest are photos and papers I am musing over for a LO of the German Market in December.

Now that was the easy bit ... nearly time for lunch ... and chocolates and coffee for stamina when I start checking up on every ones blogs,....how many this week I wonder???? ...and excuse to eat naughty food ... yum . May be it should be 'Whats On My Waist Line' lol

Take Care xx

Can't wait to see what you get with your birthday money Angie :) How interesting to find one of your relatives. I've got lots of not-so-distant relatives that I've lost touch with due to family circumstances. Little ones are fun but can be tiring :)

Don't you love it when people are smart enough to give you dosh for your birthday so you can get soemthing you really want! I'm sort of jealous about the metal bits.. would love to give that idea a go!! I would say your week was pretty much all ups!! LOL

Glad there are positive things this week too. The doodling is fantastic, truly, it is! Good break through on the FH side, new people are coming to the hobby all the time, joining on line sites etc. If I get really stuck on a line I tend to put it to one side for a few months, usually something new has become available in that time and I can get going again.

Happy Birthday Angie. You've got me wondering what your birthday money bought - and now I NEED to know!
Don't throw out your lovely doodling. You could use it as a background to a card at least if you don't want to make it into a layout. It's far better than I could do.
Those little boys look full of mischief. I bet you'll miss them when they leave.

Love the doodling...don't bin it!
Thanks for your visit:) in answer to your question the shaving brush is to stipple distress inks onto card.....gives a more subtle all over colour coverage than using the T!m tool & foam....useful if you don't necessarily want the darker edge to the card you usually get with that method.

You and I will fall out if you keep making silly suggestions that that Angle…….what’s on your waistline…..I ask you. Mind you, I bet your waistline was looking good after you sampled all those lovely cookies!
The babes look like they were really having fun.

Great news about the new family connection and it’s so strange that your were all living quite close to each other and didn’t know. The same thing happened to us with one of my dad’s cousins.

Thanks for the water colouring love!! Never say never, I only put my craft room together just last November and only really got going with stamps and inks at that time. I started coluring in images with my inks and a Zig water pen just before Christmas, and have now just incorporated the water colour pencils. I year ago I would have said I'd never be doing it either, so have a go, you never know!
