A Quick News Flash

I can now tell everyone ... Emma is pregnant again. She has had her 12 week scan so I no longer need to keep it a secret. Everything looks fine and there is only one baby this time and the due date is the 30th August.

They are hoping for a girl but another boy will be just fine. Unfortunately the hospital will not reveal the sex, even at 20 weeks or later..... they will have to wait 'til it is born to find out the old fashioned way.

Again Emma is feeling rough ..... last time it was for the whole pregnancy and she actually lost weight. This time I think it is slightly better but she feels exhausted all the time. She feels this is probably the last time she wants to be pregnant as the change in hormones encourages terrible mood swings too. I am sure that if men had babies we would only ever have one child per family lol

Sadly they will be in Ireland by then but I shall expect loads of photos and video clips. I'm not a good traveler as I get stressed but a Valium...or two ... should do the trick.lol
Wow ...I'm going to be a Nana again...hasn't really sunk in.

Take care xx

That is exciting for you and I'll bet you will somehow overcome your dislike of travel in order to spend time with the twins and their new sibling when he/she arrives!

Congratulations to them - and to you. The twins will have a baby sister (or a brother) to play with very soon. Great news!

Oh wow! Exciting news! Congratulations!

Thanks for your lovely comments on my blog. It's so interesting to read what you say about shops because it's something I've really thought about. I don't think I would ever want to try and puruse making an actual living from arts and crafts, for exactly the reason you say - it would take all the pleasure away. I know I felt exactly like that when I made a scrapbook for someone else (as a present) - it became a chore, not a pleasure, and you're always thinking about how somebody else will view it, rather than making it for your own pleasure. It's definately a unwritten rule I've made for myself re. Etsy - I'll only list what I would have made anyway, and not make new things specifically to sell. I'm just going to list what I make (I can only have so much stuff in my home, and it's got to go somewhere!) and if it brings in a few pennies to go towards the outrageous sums I spend on stash, then so much the better!
