Goodbye China Doll

 CHINA ....2000 -2013
You Will Be Missed So Much

Sadly we lost China this morning ...she had not been well for a little while but after the last visit to the vet, last weekend, she had gone down hill rapidly. We new it was now time to let her go to Rainbow Bridge ...and thankfully, she went so  peacefully.

She was a beautiful cat whose personallity was all you could wish for ...she comforted us humans through down times...especially Jay and little Kris.... and chatted when she thought we just might understand.
It was particularly hard for Kris as he chose her as a friend when he first came to live with us and was confused about his life.
Even though we have so many cats, each one is so very special to us ....we all have our favourite few and when one of those goes, it is even harder for that person.

Take Care xx

Sorry to read of your loss, Angie. No matter how much it might have been expected, losing China must be hard for you all. Hugs to Kris and yourself. Elizabeth xx

Sad to hear, Angie. It doesn't matter how many cats you have, each one is so special in their own way. No different with dogs. May she rest in peace, that lovely feline friend. Hugs, Deb

Oh Angie, I'm so sad to read this. Just be thankful that she had such a loving home with you and that Kris had her as his special friend. I know how hard it must be, I still miss my Sookey who we lost when I was 14 and she was 14 too. I like to think they all live on somewhere else, not in pain and getting up to mischief x x

It's heartbreaking to have to let one of our dear ones go. Please know that Zip and I understand totally how difficult it can be.
What a sweet little calico! I know you and your family will miss her.
HUGS!!!

Aw Angie, I am so very sorry. Take comfort in the time you got to spend together. You were both lucky.

Angie, so sorry to hear that China is no longer with you. It's possible that her spirit may remain in your home laying about with the other cats. I know that's a strange thought, but I sometimes feel like our cats that have passed on are still here with us... at least for a time. (it may be that the love you shared remains when the body passes?)

I noticed days ago that you had parted with a cat--my apologies for being late in commenting.
As you so rightly noted, even though we have or have had many cats, each one is special in some way. The cats who develop close bonds with their human household are the ones whose passing is felt most deeply.
I'm sure China had the best possible life with your family.
