Beauty ....and some updates

Update on Jake ...things are looking up ...the doctor is pleased with his progress and says they can go on holiday in a coupke of weeks, as its only over in Ireland.,,,as long as they keep a watchful eye on it all.
Update on me ...Had an eye appointment and they discovered cataracts beginning in both eyes ....left a little worse.... no wonder I thought things were a little hazy. lol

Now back to my post .....

This is the first bloom on the rose bush I was given as a Birthday/Mothers Day present from Steve, Emma and the boys ...what is even more  beautiful is the strong scent ...it reminds me of rose turkish delight which I love.

This is beautiful because its nature surviving at all odds ....this clematis was hacked down to an inch above ground ...just before the tiny buds swelled, earlier this spring ...and now look at it....7' and growing.

This is  pure kitten beauty ....the sort we used to see on a chocolate box in years gone by ...Barneby and Ellie a couple of days ago.

And this is the beauty of a young child who had his problems but is unaware of them and smiles his way through life ... Robbie with his head stuck in his jumper....no tears just smiles while he waits for Nana Anja to capture the moment before freeing him ...naughty Nana Anja.

Take Care xx

Lovely photos - the rose is perfection ... is there really any more beautiful flower than a rose!

Good to see the wee one is recovering nicely and has come smiling through it all.

Cheered me up no end Angie ... my cold has gone into full throttle today and I'm exhausted from all the sneezing :)

Hugs to you all, Elizabeth xx

I know its making postcards but how do you know who to send them to? Or am I thick....

Love the kitty shot. They are adorable as is Robbie. We should all have his attitude and not let the little things upset us and to know in our hearts we are being watched over.

Hi Angie,
I wanted to say thank you for the kind comment you left on my blog post about losing my dog. I came over to see how you have been doing and it sounds like you have had some stressful times lately. Good to hear Jake is improving and I hope he continues to do so!
Those kitties are sooooo adorable! I had no idea you had so many cats! Lucky cats to have someone as kind and caring as you!

Oh Angie, I do hope you start to feel better soon. My heart aches for you.
Prayers are constant for Jake (I even remembered in hospital) and I need an update on Nahla, have I missed it?

You’re certainly on a rollercoaster ride with Jake at the moment aren’t you. Good news though that they think he’s well enough to go on holiday and I’m sure that looking forward to it will buck him up a long way. I’m praying he continues to make good progress.

I’d forgotten about those big boxes of chocolates you used to be able to get. You don’t see anything like that anymore but better to have the real Barneby and Ellie than a picture on a box………..more fun and not as fattening!
Thanks for visiting this week and……….

Get back to that Crafting!

Such a lovely post in so many ways. So pleased to hear good news of Jake's progress and I really hope he enjoys his holiday in Ireland.
I can almost smell your beautiful rose and how special it must be to you. I had a similar accident with a clematis and it is amazing how resilient they can be.
The kits are gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous... as is the little fella struggling in that jumper!
Glad you enjoyed sharing our Superb Slovenian Saga.

Do wish you could Skype!
