Nothing on the desk ...but I want to join in WOYWW 159.

My son and family came over at the weekend ….it was so great to see them … here are the three rascals ….the twins will be 4 on Thursday …still so tiny …but Olly makes up for their lack of size … he is only 21 months!!….they are all such characters….and they know their own mind.

I was not expecting to get a call two days later, about their kittens. Their cat had kittens 6 weeks ago but sadly and suddenly the one I was gong to have was found all floppy in her bed.
Emma rushed her to the vet who discovered she was now blind too. It was such a shock as 8 hours earlier she was more than fine. Even the vet could not work out how a very healthy kitten could be in this state and there was only one thing to do as she was in such distress.
Emma had to explain why the kitten was not returning home with them ….Ben took it in his stride but Jake was devastated. They were told that Daddy would pick up the body and it would rest, with their other cats, in the garden and they would all be  playing at Rainbow Bridge together. When recounting this to his other Nana, Jake pointed out that Daddy would be picking up the head…and legs …and arms too.

I really have got a lack of mojo when it comes to paper crafting at the moment but I have been knitting Beanie hats ... DD and I have chosen the ‘closer to the head’ type but Vicki wanted hers to be looser …they only take a day to create.

Rusty is in my bad books at the moment as he seems to think the tops of these cabinets are his playground …and will not come down …even if prodded …he actually pushed a vase off while chasing his tail …it had a soft landing thank goodness.

Maybe he is jealous of my cat collection inside and the ones on top are 'catty too. ....I have shown some before  ...but here are a few more....the one playing the clarinet was a pressy from my husband in the late '60s.

Nahla will have her operation on Thursday …bet she will be grumpy about lack of food....they say she has to loose a kilo too....fat chance.

I will try to get round to as many of you as I can ...and I prommise to be more crafty soon.
Take Care xx

I always love photos of your trips and it was good to see a cat, too. But I'm so sad to read about the kitty you were going to have. I guess it's for the best, though. Seems like you have a full house as is (grin). Have a great WoYWW from # 10.

Those are boys are little cuties!
I must confess it was sad reading about the kitty but I suppose that's life. Obviously something was very wrong with it.
I used to knit years ago and found it very relaxing. ;D
Have fun with WOYWW ~ enjoy! Neesie #26

Rusty is lucky I'm not his mama, cause I'd have a ladder to get his tush down, looks like you have some nice pottery up there, and hope it doesn't get broken. Childern have such a way of bringing humor without knowing it to a sad situation, I am so glad that arms, legs etc. will also be brought home with the kitten's body. waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

Love all the photos of the grandkids and definitely love the Kitty pic. It always amazes me the places cats can take a liking to and destroy things on their way.

The grandbabies are so cute! It sometimes takes twins a while to catch up and I'll bet at 15 you won't know they were ever that small. Love the cat collection! I have one cat that loves to jump to the top of the kitchen cabinets and lay in wait for us to come in to jump down and run. Makes me scream each time! Bought a water bottle and I think I will sneak up and spray her with it soon! Have a great week Angie. Vickie #23

I LOVE the montage of the boys, they are cute cute cute. I know there's mischief too, but oh, and dont they grow fast! Love the kind explanation to Nana - definitely a scrapping story! Do you know how impressed I am that your collection of cats isn't an inch deep in dust? I neglect my cupboard collection dreadfully.

So sad to lose the poor little kitten. How heartbreaking.
The children are so lovely and must be a joy to you to share time together. I really had a wonderful time seeing my lots, first Brighton then Germany.
One of their pusses had to have an operation on her mouth whilst we were there and it is so awful to see them after but lovely when they bounce back and recover.
Lots of love Jo x

The kiddos are so sweet. Those twins! I'm thinking what they lack in size they make up in boy attitude! I laughed at the "daddy will pick up the body. And the head. And the arms. And the legs." I'm presuming daddy will bring home the tail too. And the cat! Playing with its tail up high. Cats love to be up high but my cats are at the point where they can hardly get their fat bodies to the top of the cat tower. Maybe you should fatten your up some?!

I agree. How can anyone not like cats?
Must be because you can't make them bend to your will like a dog but that's why I like them, they are their own individuals and independant animals.
Don't worry about losing your mojo, I am always losing mine, must be my age. lol

Hi Angie, I think you need to get a water spray bottle to teach your puss where is to go and where he is not to go.. but then ,maybe I am too strict in your books. I just love the wee pickies first up. Thanks so much for popping over and thanks for sharing ~ happy WOYWW! Shaz in Oz. x #25

Sad to read about the kitten - but sometimes they're not meant to survive. Natural selection and all that. Doesn't stop your heart breaking though, does it?

Sweet little laddies on your "desk" this week!
