woyww ..wk 147 ...Not a Lot

My desk is a mess ...hardly changed so no photo ...and I really have not been crafting much....nearly didn't join in again but I did make DIL to be, a birthday card

and I have finally finished kniting my Jo Scarf ...must get the beads attached now. I have also started the front of my jumper but had to rip down about 12 rows due to an error ...grrrr.

I have been baking loads of my plain scones ...so simple and quick ...go with everything....disappear fast ...hence no photos.lol. I think that they are similar to American biscuits.
I really miss it when I'm not being part of this weekly gathering so I hope you will excuse the lack of a desk shot.
I have made this a short one ... hoping to get more crafty in future weeks.

We are having a few days heat wave up here at the moment ...on Suday night we all were in at the neighbours ..having a glass of wine while the kids had a late night playing to gether. They had just installed a Fire Pit ...it was fun relaxing but we all could not get over sitting out in the garden at 9pm in T-shirts .. in March ...in Scotland....we had better enjoy it ...it may be our summer lol
Take Care
xx

Your card is lovely. Hmm...scones I may need to make some now you've mentioned them.
I'm hearing about the freaky weather from my daughter who lives in Edinburgh. Seems weird to me, so just keep your vest handy ;D

So glad you are enjoying the lovely weather like we are. Your scones sound yummy. We had "biscuits" in Red Lobster diners in the States - they were like huge cheesy scones and were totally delicious. Have a good week. x Jo

I do wonder what's going to happen this summer with above average temps so early in spring? Might be a scorcher, they are already prediciting more bugs because of the mild winter! Yuck! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

I can almost smell the scones from here Angie….probably because I mustn’t eat them, Lol! (don’t you just hate diets)

It’s a pretty card you’ve made there, I’m sure your DIL to be will be thrilled with it.

Happy Crafting!

I know how you feel about sitting out, amazing isn't it - but they forecast snow for next week!!!
Re your comment on my blog - you are welcome to come down at any time but please DO bring scones, they sound delicious.
I've just finished my scarf too but I must have dropped a stitch somewhere as I have a hole -
going to stitch it up and maybe attach a bead in the middle - we'll see.
Glad you joined in with your card which is lovely, she will be thrilled to bits with it I am sure.
Hugs, Neet #5 (who has candy on her blog) xx

It has been lovely and warm here too, but today is definitely a change for the cooler, but still no rain forecast, unfortunately. I bet when it comes it won't know when to stop. My speciality are cheese scones, which reminds me, I must get a batch done today and need to get some yeast out to make fresh bread today. Thank you for your visit this week and your kind comments. Flash did have a bit of a relapse yesterday, but seems to be a little better again today. It is the problem of stopping him from doing too much and making it worse again. xx Maggie #7

Hi Angie, I think we peaked to soon here in Scotland ... the temperature has certainly dropped and I hear that snow is forecast for next week ... ah well, it was nice when it lasted. The card is lovely, like the over stamping on the paper and the letters used to spell out the greeting and name. Hope you are in better health and that you will have a lovely weekend. No picture of your desk, but you've made a beautiful card. I love the blue and brown colours. They match so perfect. Sorry to hear about your loving cat. It's always sad when these lovely hairy friends are sick. We missed our tabby cat Simba too. He died two years ago, when we were on holiday. But the memories stays with us. Wish you and Maddie good luck and much love. xFranka

Lovely card Angie! Isn't it so annoying, when you make a mistake with knitting...I just had to remove the button bands on a cardi to re-knit! x

Just stopped by to see if you are ok - have missed you on WOYWW! Hope you are ok and just not in a crafting mood at the moment. (having re-read my comment when this post went live, I think the weather DID come back and bite us in the bum - it's been so wet...lol!)
Take care, Angie.
