WOYWW 61

Well its actually WOYWTuesday as I will be out all day Wednesday, mooching around Dundee and trying not to spend ....to much.
Here is my desk this evening

Most of the stuff I was using last week is STILL out, but some is now covered by a layer of what I am playing with now. I'm actually trying to make a Birthday card but not sure where I am going colour wise ...or anything wise really ... I am not a card maker nowadays and wanted to pop out and buy one but as the recipient is into handmade cards, I really had no choice.
I do find it strange that I can create a LO and have come to grips with a journal cover and the odd tag ...even a bleach tied T-shirt... yet cards do not come naturally anymore ... even though I started as a card maker many moons ago. I will let you see the result ...if it turns out OK.

I am making this short this week and will pop by as many of you as I can over the next few days ... cant promise to do as well as last week though ...think I managed everyone by Saturday. Vicki will link me while I'm out or I will link when I get in.

Take Care xx

Hi Angie, glad you've been able to play. Love what you've done with the bubble wrap and love the purply/lilacy page :-) It may be an idea to try some simple cards for a while just some nice paper and a simple image - just a thought. Hope you have a nice day in Dundee.

Ooh, lovely colours on that card you're making - I want those colours, lol. Such scrumminess. Looks like a productive desk to me and I know what you mean - when you get stuck in another kind of creating, it's hard to get back to something else. All about focus, I think. Have a great day in Dundee and thank you for sharing this week.

Its good to have a rest and spread your wings to other things. I bet card making is like riding a bike - you never forget how to do it!!

Lovely creative space, if you don't push it I am sure the card you need to make will come.

isn't it odd how we change over time, I have always made cards, and always struggled from time to tie, ATCs...just cannot do them, they are totally beyond me. Now give me some complicated gazillion part project and i can do that no problem.

Angie, it's saturday, so I know you had a good day out. I have to say that the work you're putting into the card is impressive and even if all you do is mount that bird image onto a dark mat and then a card, it would be great!
