143 Woyww?

Well it is really what’s sitting around not on my desk

Last week was up side down … and back to front… thanks to Kris bringing a tummy bug back to us from nursery. He was the worst, then, while he was still ill Vicki came down with it …I just felt icky but Robbie and Jay seemed to have missed it …not so …Jay was the next victim and Robbie was more like me …tired and not quite right. Oh boy was there a lot of washing.

Crafting sort of went by the wayside in my desk area, although while still waiting for the wool to arrive in order to finish my ‘Jo’ style scarf, I started the back of a simple jumper … also tried to remember needle point stitches.

I did a tiny bit on the drawers but there seems there is more finishing off than creating, on a project like that. I have no idea when I shall get it finished lol.

I know I seem to have too many creative things going on …and nothing is getting finished …well the reason for the knitting …and the stitching …is to keep my hands busy when chilling by the TV. I thought it might stop my hands reaching for yummy nibbles.

I am slowly preparing my head to be in the right place to eat healthily …forever … I have even started a blog which is really a sort of diary of how I am going to attack the whole thing…peppered with ideas and recipes and tips I acquire through out the journey. I am calling it ‘A Dieters Head Space’ and will link next week …when I have got someone here to remind me how lol. …just in case anyone wants to read it or join my journey.

Last but not least …what is it about laundry and cats? …this washing had only just been hung up to dry…. and he knew he shouldn’t be there…lol.

Take Care xx

This is too funny. That cat knows where to be. And keeping your hands busy while watching TV is a really clever idea. Happy WOYWW from #3.

Hope all the household is getting back to well now! I hate it when everyone is yuck and you still have to cope with extra washing etc.
Don't worry about having too many projects on the go... I always do so there is always something I fancy picking up wherever, whatever, whenever!! As long as you aren't just lozzocking!

Yuk to the tummy bug--that's one that doesn't allow anyone off for good behavior.
When I used a drying rack my cats liked to pull down small items--would find socks strewn all over the room.

Of course kitty would be sitting on the cleanest washing. How could anyone be cross with such a cutey. Hope all is well with your family. Busy hands are always so productive.

I love that the cat is sitting on the clean laundry. My pups always go for the warm, right out of the dryer blankets instead of their beds. dani43

Sorry to hear you've had a poorly family, hope the bug clears off soon! I don't think there's anything wrong with doing lots of different things at once - you'll get them done one day!! happy woyww, helen 32.

I always have lots of things on the go, it stops me getting bored and knitting is an ideal way of keeping your fingers away from the biscuit tin. Good luck with the diet.

Aww, so sorry you had a sick bunch. Those nurseries are nothing but petri dishes of germs. Hope all are better now.
Looking forward to your new blog. I need encouragement and structure also.

You are not alone on the many projects on the go. I keep remembering the wall hanging (that will never get hung as it is not my style) that I was supposed to be doing over a year ago, then there is the little birdie (must be years ago I started that) and the cases - better stop or there will be too much.
Hope everyone is back to normal soon and no more upset tums.
Take care

Adding my agree to all the above!
You've reminded me I've got a cross-stitch thing in my sewing stuff which I could be doing in addition to my knitting items I haven't finished and other ideas I have...

I've gotten addicted to having lots of projects at once. I don't think I'd know how to handle a single one. :) I hope everyone feels better. Not fun when the whole house gets sick. ;( Oh kitties know how to go where they aren't allowed and give us that "we are too cute to get mad at" look. Happy WOYWW! Warmly, Tracy #93

First of all, Angie, were you aware that you still have the dreaded Word Verification feature switched on? I am only one of many who find it incredibly difficult to read them, let alone retype them correctly. It is easy to turn off, and does not give you as much protection as the Comments Moderation. As for cats and laundry, it is just cats asserting their independence and their rights to be wherever they wish, and not just where we want them. That is the nature of cats, and part of what endeared them to us. have a good week. xx Maggie #9 PS you will find that a lot of people have given up leaving comments on blogs with the WV switched on.

Been knitting myself a colourful cardy, it's a lovely relaxing pastime isn't it? Love the photos of your kitty, hope you're all recovered from the bug now!

Rusty has that look of innocence all over his face as if to say, I’m looking after your washing for you and keeping it safe……don’t you just love em!

It’s good to see you stitching again but don’t be fooled by the amount of sewing I do, I still need to use a magnifying glass to see it clearly, especially since having the two lots of surgery on my eye. I’ve only ever done needlepoint once, on a set of three little pictures and I’ve sworn never to do it again. I found it a right pain the behind and much prefer cross stitch or Blackwork.

Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Crafting!

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such a kind comment. I am hoping in time the items will not remind me of loss but of friendship.

This is my first week visiting WOYWW so I'm trying to visit everyone before next Wednesday.
Phewph...there's a lot of talent out there.
've only just found my art mojo after 12 years (no idea where it went but thankfully it's found me again)
I hope you're all feeling well again. Your cats look so cute.
Must dash to get through to everyone :D
