...and Rusty Diego makes 20

...well 19 plus our 'Green House' cat Marvin.
I can hear you all scream ..."Another one" ...but there is a reason or three.... well I thought they were good reasons lol.
Firstly Emma and Steve's cat got out again before it could be neutered and had a second litter only 4 months after the first. Secondly several of our cats have reached 12 and one is VERY close to Kristofer ...with everything that has gone on in their lives I am not sure he is ready to loose 'a best friend' so we thought it would be good for them to bring up a kitten of their own but learn a lesson in sharing too.... and lastly ....who could resist this little 8 week old cutie ....

The family came over today with him and he is adorable ...we just have to see who he gets on with ...feline wise...but I don't think he will put up with any nonsense

I have added some background to my Sandy LO on G the P if you want to have a read

Take Care xx

PS The boys chose the name
....honest

I always say I'm not a cat-person but I think I'd be inclined to fall in love with that little fella.

What is there about some of us that seems to attract needy cats? We are now at 13--which includes the three barn cats. I feel that I am on 24 hour litter box duty.
[But aren't they cute?]
We likewise have two dear cats who are 12--we watch them with loving anxiety.

What a cutie, reminds me of the very best cat I ever had, my beautiful kitty.
My first ginger kitten was bought for me when I was 10 for winning an painting competition.
He turned out to be a real fighter and ended up with a cauliflower ear.
I love ginger cats and would love to have more but feeding costs rule my heart.

Oh, Angie, that little scrap of ginger is so adorable. Makes me miss my sadly departed two even more....Miss Rogers (she tap danced when we weren't looking) and Dunthorne (huge tabby) each lived to over 20! I can fully understand why you've taken him.
Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog and so glad you don't think I looked like Joan Hickson the longstanding earlier Miss Marples!!

Hi Angie, absolutel adore ginger cats - Rusty reminds me of our Thomas, a rescued cat who came with his sister Suki ... it was a long time ago now but we lost him at the age of 4 months to a feline form of aids, the result of two much interbreeding apparently. Suki survived, though quite how don't know because she and Thomas were inseparable and she groomed him constantly - it was almost as if she knew. Suki lived to a ripe old age - we adopted Bonnie to replace her but Thomas remains irreplaceable. Thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog - it's appreciated. I'm off to look at what you've added to your Sandy layout. Elizabeth x

I miss having a cat! I love it when you say you have another one. Our Lucy doggy is geting old now, think she is going deaf (or feigning it as it seems to be when she chooses!) and am sure Cooper thinks he's a cat but I do miss the real thing. Am definite cat person!

He is adorable and so is his name.
Had 21 cats at one time with all the kittens waiting to go to new homes but have down sized over the years and now just have two 12 yr old brother and sister left. Hugs Mrs A.

Aww, what a cutie Angie, I want one!
I’m on my second cat but have never had one from a kitten because both Emily and BoJangles were rescue cats. Emily was three when I got her and Bo two but it must be such fun to see the antics of such a little one.

Give him a cuddle from me.
