WOYWW 90 ...from tiny acorns.....

I really dont know where the weeks go... I find it hard to believe that it was not last week that I joined in with you all. The creative part of my brain has been empty but then I fancied trying to knit ....managed a snood thingy in soft chunky wool ...sale bargain wool obviously lol ...but now I have to learn matress stitching to finish it off. I had never heard of it but a visit to the wonderful web gave me a video ...so I must try to finish my thingy ...before the summer sets in ... lol.

Well that is not what is on my desk .... I have actually had a glimmer of arty creativeness ...just a glimmer ...not sure where its going ...but it is a start and as my heading says ...'from tiny acorns etc'.

I am also going to the crop this Saturday and have some ideas for a LO ... well 2 actually .... so hopefully I will have something to show next week.

I wonder where I shall be on JD's list as I am so late ... but better late etc etc ...so I'm off to post and will pop round to as many as I can, later ...managed well over 50 last time, in instalments, before my back said 'thats it for this week'

Take Care xx

The colours of your snood are great - much nicer than the ones the footballers wear. The journal page looks fantastic.

Have a great time on Saturday. I like your pages - its nice just to dabble with colours and see what you come up with. I am busy sewing and knitting this week. And yes - I am forever forgetting where I put things too - Annie just laughs at me but then I am 6 years older than her - her time will come!!!

Love all those snazzy colours. I haven't seen a snood in years. You must take a pic of your finished one. Have a fun day at the crop.

What gorgeous zingy pages - love them. I must say that online vids have been an absolute blessing for learning new crafting techniques - don't know how I managed when there were only pics and words!

Those colours are very much in if CHA had anything to go by. So you are bang on with those pages which look interesting. Will have to check back and see how you are progressing with them.
Enjoy your crop and mattress (?) stitching. Ooer!

Never fear Angie - I'm exactly the same, I love my 'real' books and will never give them up but the Kindle will be so handy for holidays or sitting in the car waiting for the girls to come out from school - plus I hear there are LOADS of free books to download *g*

Well I'm here on Tuesday, so you can't be too late! I know what you mean about the back telling you to stop! LOVE the pages in that journal and the colours on that start of something. How lovely to start and just let it happen - good stuff Angie!
