What you can see is the result of my Birthday visit to Hobby Craft ...I could have bought so much more but I was restrained ...for once....and enjoyed wandering around ...up and down the aisles ...every single one ...well it was a great way to work off the wonderful Chinese Buffet we had for lunch....and give me some room for a cream tea....yum
I could not resist the 'Buy 2 get 1 free' offer on PVA ...and the tiny Tapestry frame ...ideal for traveling ....and the beads were 'Fill a Cup for 4.99' perfect for finishing Jozarts scarf deign ...oh yes I now have a proper light so I have no excuse not to craft in the evenings.
I thought I would let you have a peek at some of my 'Cat Collection' ...I only add the odd one occasionally, nowadays.
See ...I can do short ones lol ...and the verification is off.

I love your cat collection. I have had one since I was a girl. Family added unusual cats for my birthday and I was always on the look out for them when we traveled.
I've had to pare down my collection to fit in this smaller house.
I probably shouldn't mention that you and I both seem to 'collect' living felines!
Shopping at a craft store for one's birthday is the BEST! Looks like you got some good loot. :-)

Lucky you having a Hobby Craft in your area. You would think a large town like Brighton would have some kind of craft shop, but no, just a odd one that doesn't really offer much.
I usually have to get my stuff online.
But like you, if we had one it would be a perfect Birthday present to spend time going up and down the isles.
It doesn't take much to make a crafter happy does it ?

Looks like you’re going to busy with your new acquisitions Angie and it looks like more sewing may be on the cards. I filled one of those pots of beads the last time I was in hobbycraft bit because I wanted to make earrings it took me ages to sort through them to find matching pairs, must to the despair of others who were also waiting to rummage.

oooh some lovely goodies there! I don't have a Hobbycraft near me so haven't been before BUT i'm taking my Mum out for the day on Monday for Mother's Day and there does happen to be a Hobby Craft near where we are going.... hoping for a cheeky little stop off! bit naughty on Mum's day out though, but I don't think she'll mind :o) Your cats are really cute! Enjoy your new goodies, your light will make the world of difference, I got one similar for Xmas and it's so much easier to craft in the evenings now x

Glad you enjoyed your birthday mooch and got some lovely stash. I love picking those beads in HobbyCraft but it's hard to stop and focus on £4.99 worth and not 5 pots full.

Not only do we share the same birthday but I used to collect cats (not real ones, just one at a time of those). Must be something to do with the date of birth. Now I just add occasionally (too much dusting).

I am not neat in my room and to be honest it was not so much tidying as re-organising for my fabric stuff which I hope to collect. (Sigh - another hobby ....)
Afraid the reorganising spread to so many parts of the house that I have been at it three days now and still not there. Just popping on here now and then to reply - then I am working at weekend. Oh drat!
