I have been playing with my relatively new Promarkers which I have not used for colouring images much yet so I thought I would run a few images off and have a proper go…Thanks MaggieC for the tip to leave the images to dry properly…24hrs seems best.
I am rubbish at drawing so found some ‘how to draw’ sheets (seen to the left) …I am still rubbish lol
I also treated myself to two new stamps …. and a couple of sheets of A4 card, which I don't normally buy ... to make birthday cards with ( seen to the right) …Robbie’s Birthday theme is to be pirates.
I have tried to keep it short and sweet this week as my other posts earlier this week have been a little family photo heavy.
Will get round to as many of you as I can over the next few days. Loved last week ...seeing all the wonderful PIF creations.
Take Care xx

Did you draw that poppy? It is amazing!
Thanks for sharing your desk with us and hope to see more of your drawing in the weeks to come.

That poppy is gorgeous. You are doing a beautiful job with those Promarkers. I'm impressed. Looks like you are well on your way to becoming a true artist. Happy WOYWW.
Glad the images are working out better now. I found that out by accident, just by printing a load in one go and then taking them on holiday to colour, which gave them plenty of time to dry and set. That poppy is glorious - I love it.
well, you seem to be doing fine with the promarkers! I had to go and look at your pics - what a great time you all had - and I love that rainbow layered cake. Oh my.... I want one!!!
Oh Yummy....I love this post!!!!! That is amazing!!!!
Wishing you a wonderful week!!!! :-)
Amazing poppy (did you draw it? or print it?) and the colouring is beautiful. Love the cake in your previous post.
I suppose if we could all draw the stamp companies would be out of business! Love the bold poppy, I think you're getting the hang of the markers, just takes practice I suppose, like any other technique. Love the new stamps too.

That poppy looks marvelous! Happy WOYWW!
Is the printed ink smudging? I found my new printer smudged but my old one didn't, cheaper inks seem to work better, and posh inks that come with the printer just no good at all! Your poppy is amazing. lovely colouring!Happy WOYWW

Ps John's been sooo busy at work, not had a day off in ages! So no time for blogging.
gorgeous poppy - very seasonal
That is a beautiful Poppy there! If you drew that you should give yourself a huge pat on the back! If it is a stamp I need it!!
I’m relatively new to ProMarkers too Angie and I think it’s going to be a rather large learning curve in my case, but it looks like you’ve done a great job with that poppy.
I can’t remember if I read it somewhere or if I was told but apparently if you’re stamping it’s best to use a Memento ink pad…..they don’t smudge like Staz-On does.
Happy Crafting!

That poppy is lovely and the cake below actually made my mouth water!!!!!
Your coloring is wonderful! And I love your posts - it doesn't matter if they are short or long - actually mine was a bit too much today but I had to show things :-)

Don't be hard on yourself your drawing looks great keep up the practice. You've done a fabulous job of colouring the Poppies Promarkers are not an easy medium to work with. I was interested in the drawing sheet I have a book from the 1900's which has similar drawingings to practice not that I've used it I just love old reference books.

Just thought I'd let you know, I've just change the ink in my new HP printer for cheaper ink, via the internet, printed out a digi and used my promarkers straight on to it and it didn't make the black ink run, so posh ink might be okay for printed papers but cheapo ink is better for digis!!
you are doing great with your Promarkers. Looks like you've been having a fab family time... great pics and that cake is wonderful,

I think you are being a mite too hard on yourself - your poppy is just stunning. Like Maggie and for exactly the same reason I've discovered that it's best to leave printed images dry completely before colouring in. I use Memento or Tim Holtz inks for stamping if I'm colouring with ProMarkers. Hope your week goes well. Elizabeth x #79
looks like you are doing great with the promarkers. Did you draw the poppy? I can't draw a straight line either and I have taken classes. Thanks for sharing! Vickie #46
You are just starting with the ProMarkers?!! It looks amazing to me! Thanks for the tip on leaving printer ink to dry for 24 hours, I generally stay away from digi images because of the ink not being as stable as the stamp ink!
Thanks for visiting me earlier!
Happy WOYWW!

beautiful coloured in image, Happy WOYWW 106, Thank you for sharing your workspace, # 25
Angie-that comment you left on my blog was so lovely-thanks so much!!
Well done with the promarkers-it's something I've not got into yet-but give me time, and then I'll come for some tips!!
Although I've bought the new Promarkers I must admit I don't use them much - but I do intend to. Your Poppy colouring is fantastic - love all the shading - wish I could that! Enjoy the FR choccies if do buy some!!

ps, I suppose it makes sense to store the pens on their side else all the ink will drop to the bottom - but if they're on their side won't the ink all fall to one side also!! LOL, I'm sure either way will be fine.
Oh WOW! That poppy is stunning Angie - grat work. Loved the birthdays cake too :)) Di xx
Great coloring on your flower. I shy away from coloring projects. No patience...Thanks for stopping by and Have a wonderful day.
Lovely poppy, makes me want to dust off my box of watercolours, and see if I have some brushes somewhere! I used to enjoy painting pansy flowers, they were fairly easy to draw (if you picked one and put it on your paper beside your drawing) and the colours were lovely.
